Offering performance previously unavailable in a portable pump, DA WEST’S new medium-pressure DPL100-AMT 4 is designed to operate under the most severe conditions. With its economical Yanmar diesel engine, the pump is stingy on fuel as well.
At home in maritime saltwater or freshwater environments, the pump is capable of producing a maximum 600 GPM flow rate and can generate a maximum pressure of 54 PSI. It will produce a maximum vertical suction lift of 26.5 Ft. with a dynamic head of 125 Ft. The DPL100-AMT is perfect for severe service high capacity trash pumping requirements.
The DPL100-AMT trash pump is powered by a 10-hp Yanmar L100 V-series air cooled diesel. The engine is equipped with an oversize 12 volt electric starting system and a recoil-type starter as a backup. Connected with oversized cables, the engine’s 45 amp-hour severe service AGM battery is maintained by a heavy-duty, 15-amp, 12-volt alternator charging system. The 3.07 gallon tank allows the efficient diesel engine to run over 8-12 hours without refueling.
The pump is a severe service open impeller trash type, and is equipped with a heavy duty shaft assembly that has been precision machined for years of maintenance-free operation. The 4” NPT suction and 4” NPT discharge ports ensure a maximum flow of water. The pump is capable of pumping up to 2” spherical solids, and features a replaceable iron volute, impeller and wear plates.
The DPL100-AMT trash pump is framed with TIG welded, 304 stainless steel, soft-radius square tubing. Installed between frame and surface six heavy-duty isolators with stainless steel hardware effectively dampen any vibration. The pump is center-balanced for lifting, and is equipped with two-man carrying handles on each end of the frame. With 316 stainless steel hardware used throughout, the unit is built for severe service.
The pump can be ordered with a wheel kit equipped with handles as well as hoses made to any specification.
